Non-Beta 2.0.0 Apps and Firmware are released

Hi All, Today we published the Final releases of both the iOS and the Android 2.0.0 Apps. There are still some issue reports here that we have not been able to reproduce or solve. The main reason for the Beta was to test that the new Firmware with the brand new API does not cause huge problems, and ...

Re: Cannot update firmware - new app version

Hmm, very weird. Sorry about that. It shouldn't even try to update Firmware C. The last Android Beta already had the Release Firmware, this Release app only has a minor update to Firmware A (2.0.0 -> 2.0.1) with a small fix for Video recording on Nikon cameras. Could you send us a log file? Menu -> ...

Re: Image Review On Nikon D300

Hi,
yes, unfortunately, this is a limitation from Nikon: they don't allow live-view while the USB communication is active - only on the latest Z-series cameras do they allow it, because those cameras cannot function without Liveview.

Re: Android 12 Support

We made several changes specifically for Android 12 support in the latest Betas.
Our Android developers did several tests on a Beta Android 12 a while back, and found no issues.
We don't foresee any problems!

Hi. Sorry - I forgot about this thread.
Your Unleashed does seem to be defective - we'll send you a new one. Please write to support@foolography.com to confirm your shipping address, and paste a link to this thread - I'll tell my colleague to expect your email.

Re: When USB cable is attached to Unleashd PC Sync socket is unusable

Hi Bruce, thanks for the suggestion. Believe it or not, we did consider exactly this when designing the Unleashed, but decided against it. As you say, there aren't many use cases these days, and for everyone else, the upright position is better, as it means the Unleashed does not protrude over the c...

Re: Documentation on the Unleashed

They are both in Video form as well as Text below the the video: https://www.foolography.com/support/unleashed/ You're very welcome to try the Android Beta, which has significant improvements - especially when i...

Re: Thumbnail review not working in BETA-3 [fixed in Beta 4]

We completely refactored this screen, and addressed several issues with the thumbnail view, so this should be fixed in Beta 4.

Re: Some FW updating problems when going from 1.4.2 to 2.0.0 BETA-3

So, we tried a lot, and simply could not reproduce this issue on any of our testing phones, no matter what we tried. We did find a crash log which we think is one of your crashes, giving us some hints, but unfortunately our logging system (which we initially implemented for checking a very specific ...
