As an update, the camera menu DOES have an entry fro Location Data IF the N2 is conencted and the app is running..... Have now switched time from GPS off.

Thanks for response. For some reason the camera does NOT have an entry for "Location Data" on the setup menu despite there being a reference in the user manual on page 478.
Willinvestigate further.
