Re: Long Exposure

Oh, and yes, we already changed the compatibility page, sorry about that wrong info. We only recently were able to test it ourselves, before that we had the info from Nikon that the D610 would be compatible with the protocol we use through the 10-pin port. It looks like they did not know enough abou...

Re: Long Exposure

This is coming in one of the next App+Firmware updates, don't worry.
Until then, it's possible to keep the app triggerbutton pressed while the camera is set to Bulb mode.

Re: Rubber lid for N1 top plug

OK, thanks!

We're thinking of having one produced. It won't be very soon though - Injection Mold tools are very expensive. We will ask our Manufacturer if he can add this to our current tools...

Re: GPS compass heading

The current Unleashed does not have a digital compass built in for calculating the compass heading. This will require an additional chip, so it will only come in a future version. We do already have a couple of development units with an appropriate chip, so we're looking into it, but it has low prio...

Re: Virtual Focus screen

Yeah, unfortunately Nikon only allows live-view when USB is not active. On the D810 you can actually use most of the Unleashed's functions without the USB cable, so you would still have live-view on the camera. (you wouldn't have image review on the phone though) But we're also working on a touch-to...

Re: Image preview option to go full screen

Hi, since the image preview is just 160x120px, it's already pixellated in the small size that you can see it in... pinch-to-zoom won't magically make it a higher resolution ;-) That said, we are working on getting a higher resolution image, and are planning on a nice UI of how to make use of it (als...

Re: Starting video doesn't work on Nikon D90

Thanks for the input, wdaehn. I just tested all the cases with a D7100 and D800, and they all work as expected. We don't have a D610 here, and there is a significant difference to the cameras we are working with here, so that's valuable feedback. The D610 is one of the newest cameras that unfortunat...

Re: start af

Hi, As Andy said: "Half-press" from the app will come as soon as we figure out a decent UI for that. At the moment we simply fully press the shutterbutton to take a photo. if the camera/lens is set to AF, we cannot disable Autofocus, ie it will autofocus before taking a picture. So wdaehn, your sugg...

Re: disable / enable Auto ISO

We already have the info about AUTO ISO, even for Nikon. I thought we had merged it together with the ISO value, to present it to the user in the same way that Canon does it (Auto at the very top of the list). We were debating adding a second picker in the ISO Setting to switch between Auto and not ...

Re: Back button autofocus not supported

Hi, I've looked into the problem, and unfortunately, this is a Nikon issue that we cannot work around easily. The same thing will happen with any wired or wireless remote, as the only pins for autofocusing on the 10-pin port of Nikon cameras is the one corresponding to half-press. So the Unleashed c...
