Re: Canon autoramp is a mess after C - 2.0.0 upgrade

Try some slightly longer intervals, and/or try the EV-meter smoothing algorithm! If the scene is so bright that you can get away with 1s shutter-speeds, then the EV-meter is actually quite reliable, in our experience (it does get unreliable when it gets really dark, for example when capturing starr...

Re: Canon autoramp is a mess after C - 2.0.0 upgrade

One thing that's really weird: the LRT algorithms are implemented that they can only make adjustments in one direction, so it's very odd that after the Shutterspeed jumps up to 1s, when really it should only ever adjust downward. I suspect this is a side effect when you opened up the ramping order:...

Canon autoramp is a mess after C - 2.0.0 upgrade [fixed in A2.2.3]

Hi, The new version 2.0 ruined my two vacations. One in Hawaii, where the sunset autoramping stopped ramping. Now I saw another erratic exposure jumps in my recent Seattle trip during a sunrise autoramping. I did not have these problems at all before V2.0. Here's the last sunrise autoramping issue a...

Re: Interval under 2 seconds

Hello,

When will we expect the change? I updated the App to the latest version 2.0.2, but it still shows the 3sec limit.

Thanks,

Re: Missing shots when using together with an intervalometer

Here's the reply from Gunther Wegner: It seems that your USB trigger blocks the camera, that's quite often the case. qDslrDashboard is one of the few exceptions that is able to control cameras and still give you the freedom to operate them. Holy Grail can either be shot automatically with qDDB or al...

Re: Missing shots when using together with an intervalometer

Thanks, Oliver. can you try to observe the top screen of your camera to see if it says "BUSY" when the Intervalometer tries to trigger? The top screen on my Canon5d IV shows 'Busy' msg briefly right after the shutter is closed for each shot. I guess that's when the buffer is being written to the mem...

Missing shots when using together with an intervalometer

Hello, I experience the missing shots issue a lot when I do timelapse with LRTimelapse Pro Timer paired together with Unleashed. When I used LRTimelapse Timer alone, and manually ramped the exposure with the camera dials, there's no missing shot: No missing frames when manual.png But whenever I used...

Re: Triggering camera shutter

Thanks, Andy and Oliver. I was in Photo mode when LRTimelapse timer is running. Sometimes the settings are grayed with a warning, sometimes it allows me to change settings, but it jumps back to the original one immediately, MG_4848.jpg MG_4850.jpg As Oliver pointed out, it's indeed related to my int...

Re: Triggering camera shutter

Hello Andy, I have an external intervalometer, LRTimelapse Pro timer 2.5. I tried it together with Unleashed, but Unleashed doesn't allow me to change any camera settings when LRTimelapse timer is running. I hope Unleashed can at least let me change the camera settings such aperture, shutter speed a...
