Re: Tethering
Hi, Sorry, but unfortunately, that won't work. the space for a USB port is one thing, but we'd need another chip and all the firmware for that to support another USB connection, which would be a very complex undertaking. Since the Unleashed is designed to make tethering obsolete in most ways and pro...

Re: Unable to Use Rear Monitor while Unleashed Is Plugged in
@Unfoolishly: Don't worry, your Unleasheds are not affected for sure. It was just a small number of mainly N1's (some N2s) in the first production batch (ie Kickstarter backers), with serial numbers below 1000. Most Unleasheds in that Production batch are without any issues, so it's not a widespread...

Re: Pair GPS receiver per Unleashed versus Pair GPS receiver per Smartphone
1) External GPS receivers can be used to provide a smartphone with GPS data for the entire system. For instance the Bad Elf GPS Pro series can do this for iOS, but AFAIK, not for Android. From what i read, there are apps that will take GPS data from an external GPS and forward it to the Android oper...

Re: A clear "quit" button in the Unleased App
Nope. It goes against all app guidelines to add an exit button to apps, and though there might be ways to do so, it's not even easy to do so. Have a read here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/2033914/is-quitting-an-application-frowned-upon/2034238#2034238 or elsewhere on the web about this. So, ...

Re: Disable USB connection to camera using the Unleashed App (tri-stating the USB I/O pins)
Hi, it's in the official "disconnected" state according to the USB Specification. So virtually identical to tristating the pins. I'd have to look up which are really tristated and which pulled low, but anyway, it's exactly according to USB Spec, so don't worry about that. Liveview works perfectly wh...

Re: Focus area selection.
Ah, I see, no, you're right, that's what's known as Focus Area, whereas I meant Focus point. Well, we actually already get that info from the camera, but would need to display it somewhere in the app. But yeah, we didn't give this any priority for the same reasons, that it's not typically needed whi...

Re: Identification of the camera in the Unleashed App not available when Unleashed used on a different camera
Did you plug in the USB cable on the D90 as well? The D90 supports most features of the Unleashed (including transmitting its name) only when the USB cable is plugged in. So while the App doesn't get a new name, it keeps displaying the last one, rather than switching back to displaying the serial nu...

Re: Unleashed App doesn't cancel the "shutterbutton pressed" action when photo cannot be taken by the camera
The Firmware is designed to release the trigger if it doesn't manage to trigger after 1 or 2 seconds, and the app should simply mirror what the firmware tells it, but who knows what edge-case you managed to find. As always, if you do manage to reproduce it, a log-file from your android app would be ...

Re: Multiple Unleasheds triggering going out of control (yes, really!)
Could you guys enable logging on your Unleashed apps and send us a log file after such an event happens again? Then our Android developers can look into it.
