Almost. It does fit (on the N1, not so much on the N2 which is too close to the camera body), and we have made the pins of that plug compatible. however, we currently don't provide power to that port unless our custom USB cables. This is something we could change in a future firmware version though....

The indicator is still there, if your camera supports it. Not in the viewfinder, but in the top LCD of your Camera. Unfortunately Nikon changed the [GPS] Letters with a Satellite icon with the D810, but removed it from the top LCD on the D850 entirely. You can still find it on the INFO screen of the...
