When USB cable is attached to Unleashd PC Sync socket is unusable

I suggest that you move the place where the USB cable attaches to the Unleashed device 90 degrees clockwise (looking at the camera) to prevent the cable from conflicting with the PC Sync socket. There aren't a lot of uses for the PC Sync socket these days, but then again, it would be better if Unleashed didn't block the socket.

Thanks,
Bruce

Hi Bruce, thanks for the suggestion.
Believe it or not, we did consider exactly this when designing the Unleashed, but decided against it. As you say, there aren't many use cases these days, and for everyone else, the upright position is better, as it means the Unleashed does not protrude over the camera's profile which makes it less prone to getting snagged on something when walking around or when packing the camera in a bag.

The few that do need the PC-sync socket can still use the Unleashed without the USB cable attached (which is only necessary for a handful of features), or use a PC-sync adapter for the Hotshoe, like the Nikon AS-15. Third party alternatives cost next to nothing.
