Strange version number reported with update to 3.0.0

During update to version 3.0.0, the firmware slot A is reporting 255.255.255 beta 255.
I tried updating a few more times and get the same result.
I tried pressing the trigger as now recommended during firmware updating.

Is this a problem?

Your Serial number is below 4500, so we might have a solution for you. You will not believe this but the following trick will most likely help: Put the Unleashed in the freezer for 10-20 minutes, then plug it into the camera and try the update again!
We took a long time trying to find the cause of this problem. We found the problem and fixed it, but the fix comes in Firmware A, so if there’s ever a problem during the update of Firmware A, the fix will no longer work either.. The trick with the freezer has a scientific explanation too - now that we know the underlying cause.

During the update, make sure to half press your camera’s shutterbutton, so that it doesn’t go into standby!
