Extra shots fired on Canon R5 [solved - set driveMode to S for timelapses]

We tested as good as we can. But there will always be things we didn't find. If you found things that apparently don't work as they should, you can report them here so we can take care of them as soon as possible.

I'm using an Unleashed 22 on a Canon R5 in Holy Grail mode. Infrequently (around one shot in twenty but it's irregular) I get an immediate second shot after the intended shot, always 0.3 seconds after the first shot finishes. This happens on every shoot. Is there something I can do to diagnose what is causing it? I delete the extra shots on my laptop after the shoot but it's a painful manual cleanup process.

Hi Matt,

What is your camera's Drive Mode set to? If it's one of the Continuous settings, (CH or CL) then this can happen. Please set it to S.

If it was already on S, let us know, then we'll investigate what might have happened.

Have a good start into the new year!

Happy new year! You're right, my camera is set to continuous shooting. I'll use single-shot mode next time.
