Photo Preview - Greyed Out [solved - plug in usb]

We tested as good as we can. But there will always be things we didn't find. If you found things that apparently don't work as they should, you can report them here so we can take care of them as soon as possible.

I am having an issue in that I can't enable the photo preview. When I select the image icon, it gives me the option to enable photo preview or clear images. The toggle to enable the photo image isn't working for me or it is disable.

I do not have the cable plugged in but everything else is working on my Nikon D500.

Any ideas?

P.S. I have provided a screenshot of my issue.

Nikon provides access to the images only via USB, per my understanding. Hence you need to USB cable for that functionality.

Hi,

As wdaehn correctly stated, photo review on Nikon cameras is only available when the USB is plugged in. That is explained in the compatibility page: https://www.foolography.com/products/un ... atibility/

For all Nikons, a short, flexible cable with small right-angle plug is necessary for the photo review feature. The cable comes with all UNLEASHEDs N1 and N2.

I hope that helps.

Apologies for the late reply but yes, I needed to have the USB cable plugged in.

Thanks to all who replied!

Cheers.
