Hi,
I hope I'm understanding it right, that you mean you can't use the camera's Live-view anymore?
Unfortunately, this is an issue for all Nikon DSLRs, except the Latest D850, Z6, Z7 and probably D780, as far as we know. It is by design from Nikon, so there is nothing we can do. We put a lot of effort into a workaround for Starting/stopping Video, where we change a setting via usb, then turn off usb and use hardware pins off the 10 pin port to start video recording.

hi Oliver,
thanks for the answer.
i'm not sure that's an issue on all Nikon dslr.
i've tested with just the cable connected and it does the same, i can use the liveview for settings purpose but not for photo.
i've tested with an other cable i have for the N2 and it works perfectly.
so i think it"s more the cable that defective.
and on my nikon d5100 no trouble at all.

Petite rectification :
it work smoothly on d600, live view perfect with the previous cable.
on d5100 once it's connected, i loose the liveview as mentionned and that is ok.

it would be nice if you can send me a working one for the Nikon D600.
thanks.
