N1: Photo trigger is not available. Card is full, read-only or faulty. Check SD card. [solved]

We tested as good as we can. But there will always be things we didn't find. If you found things that apparently don't work as they should, you can report them here so we can take care of them as soon as possible.

I am able to connect to the Unleashed on my Nikon D500 from my iPhone SE , and I can change camera settings, but I cannot take any pictures. I am getting an error message "Photo trigger is not available. Card is full, read-only or faulty. Check SD card."

The card is empty.
The card is unlocked.
The card works with manual operation.

A 2nd card works ok.

Why does it think my SD card is faulty? What can I do to fix this so it works with all SD cards?

There is a bug in the firmware that raises that error with empty SD cards. Take a picture with the camera and the error should go away.

This is a known issue and it will be fixed with the next firmware update.
