If you own a D850 plus a D750, would you need the N1 and the N2, or is there a way to operate both with one remote? Thanks! Gary

Well, ideally, you should get one for each camera, and you can operate both cameras from a single app!
However, if you really want to use a single Unleashed on either the D750 OR the D850, there is one possibility:
The WR-A10 Adapter from Nikon converts between the round 10 pin port of the D850 and the square one of the D750. So you could buy an Unleashed N2 and use the adapter to plug it into your D850. However, the Socket on that Adapter is recessed too deeply, so you need to shave off some of the plastic of that Adapter. I also don't recommed this at all if you want to use the USB cable (see why in the photos). Also, the WR-A10 is not cheap, and you're much better suited with a second Unleashed ;-)

This is what the adapter looks like:

Does this adapter easily break or is it pretty sturdy?

The adapter is sturdy, ( has a screwable lock-ring) but compared to the Unleashed N1 it is very unsightly, and especially if you want to connect the USB cable, it's absolutely not recommended.

Also, we currently have a huge rebate for the Unleasheds, so it's definitely worth the little bit of extra cost compared to the already expensive WR-A10 ;-)
