New Instructions for Holy Grail (instead of Auto-Ramp)
Hello, Watched a Youtube video of someone setting Auto-Ramp under the old firmware, where it was called Auto Ramp, not Holy Grail, which appears to the case after updating to the 3.3.x firmware. Read this tutorial which applies to the old firmware. https://www.foolography.com/faqs/how-to-use-auto-ra...

Re: First-time AutoRamp questions
Hi, Did I understand it correctly, that you were shooting a sunset? The LRT Algorithms are only available if you have the USB cable connected. Without it, only the EV-meter Smoothing algorithm will work. On a sunset, the ramping order is: Shutterspeed, aperture, ISO, so that, just as you say, the i...

Re: First-time AutoRamp questions
Hi, I haven't had a chance to attempt it more than once but the LRT algorithms are the only ones which ramp the exposure -- ISO, shutter speed? While the regular smoothing algorithms won't? So I would need to order this cable: https://www.foolography.com/shop/product/unleashed-nikon-cable/ And so th...

Re: First-time AutoRamp questions
OK at the very end of the shooting, it increased the shutter speed from 1/60 to 1/25, after it had reached the max aperture I had set for my Nikon Z7 of 12800. The Night limit showed 8 seconds IIRC with the interval set at 10 seconds. Would have been nice if it used this shutter speeds for some of t...

First-time AutoRamp questions
I looked at the Youtube video as well as the blog entry. First thing I noticed, there is only one algorithm available, neither of the LT algorithms as displayed by the blog post. I have checked for firmware updates recently so I know the app and the firmware are current. I checked the limits of Day ...

Re: Difference Between UNLEASHED ’18 & ’22?
Sorry to hear that you haven't been able to successfully use the timelapse feature! Could you explain how you were going about it? Perhaps the reason it didn't work is something simple, like the interval being too short – but if a bug was preventing you from using it properly, it may also have been...

Re: Difference Between UNLEASHED ’18 & ’22?
I've been using Unleashed '18 for several years. I ordered a second one as backup. Mostly use it for geotagging and for long exposure trigger. I could never get the time lapse feature to work though, either on the D750 or the Z7. Instead I use the built-in time-lapse features on the camera, which on...
