The long awaited wireless bluetooth GPS solution is here. Finally, Nikon photographers keen on tagging their images with GPS Data can concentrate on taking pictures again, without having to fight with clumsy, bulky and unattractive cables, tethering a relatively big, usually out-of-date GPS receiver to their Nikon camera. Instead, a beautiful, tiny and unobstrusive bluetooth module now sits directly on the 10-pin socket, connected wirelessly to the most modern bluetooth GPS receiver on the market, sitting anywhere in the vincinity, such as a windowsill, the backpack or a pocket. The photographer can once again keep his focus on the photographs, instead of the arkward leash that bound his camera to a GPS receiver.

Failure to mention that the Unleashed module is of course D3 and D300 compatible, gives me reason to continue the special offer introduced last December. For all those assumed the compatability list was complete and exclusive, and did not care to ask in an email - The website was simply not updated with this info since the new Camera models were introduced.

For the Unleashed module to function as intended with the D3/D300, in the menu, under GPS, the Setting "Auto Meter Off" needs to be disabled.
