No. The Barcode Edition is Plug’n’Play. As soon as you receive your Barcode Edition you can use it with your camera out of the box. The only exception is the Barcode Edition D300s. Yes, the barcodes are embedded in the photos’ metadata, JPG or RAW. So unless you delete the photo, or intentionally strip the metadata, the barcode will remain with the photo! Read more…
