The initial pairing is described in the instruction manual of each product. The instructions can be downloaded below. The pairing only needs to be done once at the beginning. From then on the Unleashed’09 remains paired with the GPS receiver even if you change the batteries of the camera or GPS receiver.

The functionality is mostly identical between the different versions, with one notable exception: To enter the pairing routine on the Unleashed’09 Dx000 and D90 an MC-DC2 Remote release is required, whereas on the Unleashed’09 D200+, the camera shutter button can be used instead.
